Motorbike rental prices and conditions in Santiago

We rent motorbikes by the day in Santiago de Compostela from €50, with riding gear, insurance, unlimited mileage and the routes already loaded on your phone. You pick the bike up ten minutes from the cathedral and half an hour later you are riding the Costa da Morte, the Ribeira Sacra or the Rías Baixas.

We are not an airport counter: we are local riders. We hand over a serviced bike, tell you where to go depending on how many days you have and what the weather is doing, and leave you the GPX tracks so you never lose a good corner looking for the turn-off.

What the price includes

Which licence you need

With a car licence (B) held for three years you can ride a 125 in Spain. Our Yamaha YS125 is not available at the moment: write to us and we will let you know as soon as it is back in the fleet.

With an A2 you can take the Benelli TRK 502, a twin-cylinder trail bike made for 300 or 400 kilometres in a day without wrecking you. With a full A too, of course. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 joins the fleet soon.

We need a valid licence and an ID or passport, nothing else: we ask for no deposit. If your licence is from outside the European Union, bring your international driving permit.

Frequently asked questions about renting a motorbike in Santiago

How much does it cost to rent a motorbike in Santiago de Compostela?

From €50 a day for the Benelli TRK 502, with VAT and unlimited mileage. That is the base price for the bike: insurance and accessories (helmet, phone mount, panniers…) are chosen when you confirm the booking and you see them added to the total. From three days the daily rate drops.

Can I rent a motorbike with a car licence?

Not right now: our 125cc Yamaha YS125, the one you ride on a B licence, is not available. Write to us and we will let you know as soon as it is back in the fleet. The other bikes require an A2 or A licence.

Do I have to pay in advance?

No. We confirm the booking by WhatsApp or email with no online payment and no deposit; you pay when you pick the bike up.

Do I have to leave a deposit?

No. We ask for no deposit and no hold on your card: you pick the bike up, you bring it back, that is it.

Is riding gear included?

Yes: approved helmet, gloves and armoured jacket for the rider, in your size, at no extra cost. We also lend gear for the passenger if you ride two-up.

Where do I pick up the bike?

In Santiago de Compostela, about ten minutes from the cathedral. We send the exact spot when we confirm and, if you arrive by train or bus, we can bring the bike to you.

Is mileage limited?

No. Mileage is unlimited within Galicia and mainland Spain; we only ask you to let us know if you plan to leave the country.

How many days should I rent for?

One day covers the Costa da Morte as far as Finisterre, or a loop around the Rías Baixas. Two or three days bring in the Ribeira Sacra and the inland roads without rushing, which is where the best of it is.

Can I rent with fully comprehensive insurance?

The price includes third-party cover with assistance. If you want to reduce the excess, tell us when booking and we will quote the supplement.

Do you rent in low season?

Yes, all year round. From October to May there is far less traffic and Galicia looks beautiful; you just check the forecast and dress properly.

Shall we book your bike?

Tell us the dates and we will confirm availability today. No payment up front.
